Hola, Hello from Uruguay,
Further Signs of Decadence.
To sumize what you’ve probably already seen hints of.
INFLATION (Image above from Hedgeye newsletter)
Ground beef: +10.6%
Steaks: +22.1%
Bacon: +19.3%
Pork roasts, ribs 19.2%
Chickens: +17.1%
Fresh fish: +10.7%
Ham: +7%
Matthew kindly points out. Inflation is not when prices go up.
Inflation can happen if the money supply grows faster than the economic output under otherwise normal economic circumstances.
Really it’s when you increase the money supply that increases the cost of everything.
The only way they can stop inflation is if they stop increasing the money supply.
They haven’t stopped printing money yet.
I saw this smart remark on Twitter that I can't find again, "Just Saying: Friendly reminder that unless you got a 5.4% raise you got a pay cut this year."
The Social Security Administration said 70 million recipients will receive a cost-of-living adjustment of 5.9% in 2022, the biggest increase since 1982.
4 in 10 seniors rely on Social Security payments as their sole source of retirement income
The administration has raised food stamps by 25%.
#EmptyShelvesJoe was treading on Twitter.
It seems running an effective economy isn't all about pandering to ideology.
All those people who voted for Biden should check themselves because,
Inflation and shortages due to supply chain issues are 'high-class problems. (Ron Klain, White House Chief of Staff.)
The comfy days of Americans getting everything they want and need are behind us. Pete Buttipeg says the US Supply chain issues will 'certainly' continue into 2022.
Unfortunately, it's only going to get worse.
Do you know what this problem needs?
A new medicine mandate for workers to spice things up.
A record of 4.3 Million workers quit in August according to the Labor Department. A majority of them weren't members of a union.
10.4 million job openings, including an addition of 22,000 government jobs. Employers at restaurants and retail are having trouble filling job positions. What about these essential workers that we raved about last year?
Police officers are not getting the vaccine
Truck drivers are not getting the vaccine
Port Authority workers are not getting the vaccine
Railroad workers are not getting the vaccine
TSA workers are not getting the vaccine
Navy Guidance Will Discharge Sailors Refusing COVID-19 Vaccination ( By Nov. 28) Without Exemption
Chicago Mayor Files for Injunction Against Police Union Over Vaccine Mandate
Judge ordered the police union leader to stop encouraging cops to defy the city mandate
" predicting that 50% or more officers will violate their oaths and not report for duty. Catanzara is encouraging an unlawful strike and work stoppage which carries the potential to undermine public safety and expose our residents to irreparable harm, particularly during an ongoing pandemic." - Mayor Lori Lightfoot
But more than 460 American law enforcement officers have died from C*19 infections, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page. Making the coronavirus by far the most common cause of duty-related deaths in 2020 and 2021. More than four times as many officers have died from C*19 as from gunfire in that period.
*** Dont forget that businesses with over 100 employees have to follow mandates but USPS does not because they have a strong union***
WHO WILL REPLACE THEM?
In 1981 Ronald Regan fired the air traffic controllers who went on strike and hired replacements.
-534,000 healthcare workers quit in August
- Nurses are preparing to strike at Kaiser Permanente in California
- How many health care workers will quit due to the mandate?
It's too early to tell…
What seems crazy to me is that political talking heads are so quick to replace all these workers!
"We have thousands and thousands of high-quality substitute teachers," said NY Mayor Bill DeBlasio in an MSNBC interview.
"They're vaccinated. They're ready. They're really pumped up to have the opportunity to serve. And we are not going to have a shortage," said the mayor"
Many are asking "Who is John Galt?"
But there will be huge consequences when society eliminates those with real expertise and skill. You're replacing essential workers with NPC's.
“We’re assuming that the positive impact of the drop in Covid cases has been offset by surging energy prices, but we hope the opposite story will play out in November, assuming Covid cases continue to fall rapidly,” wrote Ian Shepherdson, chief economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics, in a note to clients. “
But let’s be honest COVID cases will not be dropping. The medicine doesn't work!
Things are picking up momentum.
We will continue to hear the narrative “Pandemic of the UnV*xxed.” Creating more division and hatred.
Love,
Jane

Hi! I really appreciate your work. I am considering Uruguay and I would like to touch base with you if possible. I've been a videographer and video editor for more years than I care to admit so I may be able to help if you need that type of thing at some point. I can send my email address if email works. Thanks! Mike
